Moore Construction was formed in 1965 by Mr. Paul Moore. Starting with a used truck, trailer and worn out backhoe, Mr. Moore has built the company into one of the leading utility contractors in the region. Still a family owned business, three generations of Moore’s run the company. Paul Moore acts as director, his son Johnny is president and Paul Moore’s grandson, Ronnie, is vice-president and started the Division II sewer rehabilitation and service operation. Johnny Moore joined the company right out of high school and Ronnie started work full time after completing his BS degree in mathematics and business at Austin Peay State University.

Through the years Moore Construction Company has done every type of pipe installation there is from multi-million dollar large diameter to small local jobs worth thirty thousand dollars. The company has grown from just a crew and Mr. Moore acting as estimator, foreman and operator to over 75 employees with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Although we have grown we are not too big to offer the personalized service and attention we were founded on. Still a hands-on-family company we can be flexible in our approach when necessary. Our goal is to help our clients meet their needs, solve their problems and maximize their dollar.

We still heed the words of Mr. Moore in 1965, “Never leave a project that you can’t go back to – never leave until you make sure the customer is completely happy with the job.”
